The Amethyst is a lovely purple shade and very clear. It is also quite substantial in size. The diamonds surrounding the amethyst are quite small as you would expect but are very clear, bright, and sparkly. They highlight and accent the large amethyst very well. The ring also sits a little high as depicted in the pics. If you are wanting a low profile ring then this is not for you mainly because of its high profile beauty that screams to be noticed. Looks much more expensive then the asking price. I love it!
